Enticing customers to return to your website?
If you already have a website, you probably wonder how many people visit your site, but do you ever think about how many people revisit your site? The type of content websites in general contain will vary depending on the type of business. Generally they include information about the business, services offered and contact information. This information is important and informative to potential customers, but will it make them want to revisit a site? Probably not.
As a business, you probably have many different types of services that you offer to your customers. Have you tried to come up with different ways to offer your services to your customers that could ultimately bring you more business? Sometimes creative solutions can be an inexpensive way to do this.
A website could be used in many different ways to attract customers to utilize your services. For example, a restaurant that has been in business for a while and looking for a way to attract new business may offer a free downloadable recipe on their website. If they offer food-to-go, they may want to offer entertaining tips. A photographer might want to give tips on clothing to wear when getting portraits done or a web newsletter to inform customers of specials. A home improvement company might consider offering tips for fixing simple problems and let them know to leave big jobs to the professionals. You certainly don’t want you customers to feel that they don’t need your services, but they will appreciate your tips and information. They’ll probably also be more willing to recommend you and they’ll want to revisit your website to see what’s new.
Another reason to offer this information on your site is to help your Search Engine Optimization (SEO). By updating your site regularly, you are making search engines crawl you site more often. This will help your ranking on search engines like Google. The more often you update your site, the quicker your page will move up on the list and the easier it will be for people to find your website.
